From Summit to Policy: Advancing Asian Mental Health
Flourishing Futures was the inaugural Asian Health and Wellbeing Summit. We worked with AFS to bring their vision to life. Flourishing Futures brought together Ministers, MPs, government officials and community leaders to deliver powerful insights and commitments.

We worked with AFS and their partners to develop the summit concept, brand, event management, promotional activity and media engagement. And subsequently to develop a briefing paper for the Ministers following the summit. This paper translated the insights form the community into actionable policy recommendations.

Flourishing Futures featured:

  • Hon Matt Doocey, Minister for Mental Health
  • Dr Roshini Peiris-John of the University of Auckland
  • Hon Melissa Lee, Minister for Ethnic Communities
  • Nancy Lu MP
  • Kelly Feng MZNM, Chief Executive of Asian Family Services

Along with panel discussions that  brought to life the lived experiences of Asian New Zealanders, highlighting both challenges and resilience.
